India Unveils Landmark National Logistics Policy: Targets Drastic Cost Reduction, Boosts Global Competitiveness

The policy explicitly seeks to break down departmental silos, ensuring coordinated action across various ministries including Railways, Road Transport & Highways, Ports, Shipping & Waterways, and Civil Aviation.

Crucially, the policy envisions leveraging the 'PM Gati Shakti' platform as the technological backbone for integrated planning and execution of infrastructure projects.
